Remaining invariable through time; having no beginning or end".
Timeless is indeed a wonderful word. No beginning, no end… just always.

Over 60 years ago, (as Pastor Sherman points out - before he was even born), a pastor by the name of Luzene Lamerson, had a vision of the deep need for the people of Palm Beach County to hear the story of the blessed Savior a Savior who loved them enough to die for them, in order to offer all people a gift like no other eternal life. That man's dream was for others to know the timeless love of the Christ he had come to know.

At the age of 16 Sherman Dibble encountered this unsung hero and accepted Christ as his Savior, a direct result of the intentional outreach of that dream. No one ever imagined that this 16-year-old young man would be a part of bringing this vision to reality years later.

Seeds Of Hope

Dreams were sown over the ensuing years through that gentleman's church of 60 years ago. Early on, a work in a mostly unpopulated area of the acreage was envisioned and seeds were put in place. As time went on, it might have seemed some of those dreams were not going to materialize at least by what the human eye could see. Yet, in God's amazing design of life, this young man grew up, to become the instrument used by Him to bring to fruition the hope and dreams of a work in that area.

A Miracle of God's Enduring Love

At a point in life when most of us are looking toward settling in, preparing for the "golden years"; being established in a work, Pastor Sherman heard God's call and, after much prayer and wise counsel, launched out in faith to follow God into a new work, Horizon Baptist Church going through a door put in place many years ago for an Independent Baptist Church to be established out west.

Our God, His love and His ways, are timeless.

Seeing how, first-hand, the unbroken thread of God's purpose over these 60 years develop; observing the prayers still being answered of saints who have gone on to glory; being a vessel God is using to answer the passionate prayers sown more than 60 years ago, gives one a tiny glimpse of God's timeless working. We stand in awe of Him!

It is not His [God's] will for any to perish.

It is our passion to share that timeless truth with hungry, dying people and to grow together in the joy and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ continuing the unbroken thread of the gospel message points westward.
