NEWSLETTER
By God’s grace, Bruce was born into a Christian family
and thus was exposed to the truth and conviction of the Gospel
from a very early age. One evening after family devotions, at
the age of six years old, he repented of his sin and asked Christ
to be his Savior. He was baptized a year later. Upon graduating
from high school in 1980 Bruce attended Baptist University of
America in Atlanta, GA. There two dramatic events transpired
which changed the direction of his life. First, God burdened
his heart for missionary service. Second, he met Lisa Toman.
They both graduated from the college in 1984 and were shortly
thereafter married. Bruce served as an associate pastor
in Bridgeport, WV for four years. Sensing the need for
greater preparation he enrolled at the Calvary Baptist Theological
Seminary graduating in 1994. God then directed the Burkholders
to Mexico City, Mexico where they had the privilege to serve
for ten years ministering in the area of church planting and
pastoral training. Currently Bruce is the Director of Theological
Curriculum for Editorial Bautista Independiente (EBI) which is
the Spanish Literature division of Baptist Mid Missions. They
have three children Jared, Lindsay, and Matthew.

Dr.

planted the Church in Haddath, Lebanon, and from that
base of operations he reaches out to Lebanese Arabs
and the people that come from various African countries
to work in Lebanon.

continue to actively work planting churches in the
Middle East. In addition to overseas ministry, Dr.

Boris & Irina
Goldin
Chosen Peoples Ministry

Boris
Goldin moved to New York from Russia about eight years
ago. He came looking for the "American Dream"-security
and success - but his search took a whole different
turn when his wife, Irina, became a believer in Jesus.
Boris
resisted her witness and argued vehemently with her.
But as he began to read the Bible for himself, Boris
sensed the reality of God. After a year and a half
of searching, Boris accepted Jesus as his Savior.
Recently,
Boris helped begin a new Russian outreach in Brooklyn,
New York. For the last three years, he sensed God's
call to serve in full-time ministry. He left a successful
insurance business and is now in Southern Florida with
Chosen People Ministries.
Along
with being a gifted evangelist and teacher, Boris Goldin
is also an effective preacher of God's Word. His passion
is to see Jewish people throughout the world accept
Jesus as their promised Messiah. |

Our Journey to Missions
Jeff and Deanne trusted Christ as their Savior at the age of four and dedicated their lives to serve as missionaries at the age of six and seven.
We have attended and led mission trips to six different countries. As senior pastor, Jeff led the vision for our church to send 10 of our people to the mission field by the year 2010. God answered our prayer, and we are apart of that 10.
We are pioneering a church-planting work in Ecuador for the Association of Baptist for World Evangelism. It is our passion to see lives changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are focusing on church–planting and Pastoral training in the Tumbaco Valley, where less than 3% claim to be evangelical. Partner in pray with us as we carry the Gospel from the center of the world (Equator) to the end of the earth. |
